Hawaii starter Allen Cox had a strong outing against the Dallas Texans at Aloha Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 2-0 win. The Islanders have an impressive 91-55 record.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the ninth inning, but Bernalldo Rocchi didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Dallas trailing 2-0, Rocchi retired Tzu-yu Xuan to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Rocchi, with a wink.
