The Quebec Armada and Cabo San Lucas Toreros played an exciting game at Field de Los Layendas.

The Armada had to overcome a fine effort from Cabo San Lucas pitcher Richard Lawson to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Field de Los Layendas. Lawson went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Joachim Doucet was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 35 of 39 save opportunities.

This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the tenth, Sok-yung An hit a sacrifice fly. The Armada took the lead, 4-3.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Matt Johnson. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."

The Toreros, at 57-90, have lost 7 in a row.
