Victory Over Mustangs Takes Bloomington to 91-55
|
Spirited fans at McNichols Stadium greeted the Mile High Mustangs for their clash with the Bloomington Blazers.
The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at McNichols Stadium, knocking off the Mile High Mustangs, 5-2. On the mound for Bloomington was right-hander Rahmad Bintang, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Blazers saw their record improve to 91-55.
Lucifer Sam, who is tied for 9th in the TML in doubles with 29, aided the Bloomington cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the second. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 4 with a triple and a double.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Bloomington manager Javier Ramírez.
