Marauders Stay Hot With 6-2 Win
The Maple Marauders racked up a win at Debris Field, bumping off the Kansas City Tornadoes, 6-2. Héctor Zúñiga, who started for Maple, pitched effectively for his team. Zúñiga, now 15-4, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. Maple now has a 9-game win streak.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the third, with the game tied, Jae-hoon Park was at the plate when Maple scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Marauders to go in front, 1-0.
