Rosa Helps San Diego Cruise to 11-3 Win

It was a fun time at The Brew Stade, where the Vancouver Pioneers and San Diego Hops tangled.
The San Diego Hops met little resistance from the Vancouver Pioneers, beating them 11-3 at The Brew Stade. Gerardo Rosa led the way. He went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for San Diego. Robinson Pedercini was the winner. Over 8.1 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts.
Martín Árias, who is tied for 7th in the RCL with a .308 batting average, aided the San Diego cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder was 2-5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Rosa said.
Even with the win, the Hops have a dismal 50-95 record.
