2033 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Vancouver Pioneers.

The Portland Beavers picked up a win at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, knocking off the Vancouver Pioneers, 5-3. Starting pitcher Félix Reina played a key role in the triumph. With the win, Portland has a record of 67-74. Vancouver falls to 54-86.

The Beavers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ralph Blair. For the game, Blair went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 29th home run of the season gave Portland a 2-1 lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Blair told the Portland Gazette.
