Earthquakes Prevail, 3-1, Over Cabo San Lucas
The San Francisco Earthquakes got a good effort from starter Edgardo Sáenz in defeating the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. The final score was 3-1. Eddie Rosado earned the save, his 4th, for the Earthquakes. Cabo San Lucas, at 2-11, is off to a dreadful start in 2033.

The Earthquakes got a big at-bat from left fielder Hisaji Maekawa. For the game, Maekawa was 1-4 with a hit by pitch. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 11th hit of the season gave San Francisco a 2-1 lead.
