Bloomington Hot Streak Continues with 5-2 Win
|
The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at Lucky 7 Ballpark, knocking off the Quebec Armada, 5-2. Starting pitcher Oliver Romero played a key role in the triumph. Paco Berroa notched his 42nd save in 49 chances. The second-place Blazers have won 8 straight games.
Sean Clark, who leads the TML in triples with 10, chipped in for Bloomington with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Romero.
