Beavers right fielder Rafael Cruz put his stamp on his team's 9-3 win over the Columbus Aces. Cruz went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for Portland in the contest. The winner was Rolf Pals, who threw 106 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 6 hits.
