Blazers Score Late to Upend Tornadoes, 7-5
|
Henry Morris left his imprint on the 7-5 Bloomington win against the Kansas City Tornadoes. Morris, who is rated as the 46th best prospect by BNN, was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Blazers, at 85-51, have now won 5 straight.
Morris had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-0 cutter from Norberto Barrón, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Blazers a 7-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Morris.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Bloomington manager Javier Ramírez.
