The New York Mafia picked up a win at Sick's Stadium, knocking off the Seattle Sasquatch, 3-2. Starting pitcher Clint Taurus played a key role in the triumph. Seattle, at 41-94, has lost 4 straight.
The Sasquatch had little chance against Taurus, who overpowered Seattle hitters and struck out 11.
"Nothing's come easy this year for us," said Taurus. "Just glad we took this one."
