Schmit Sensational for Bombers

The South Carolina Bombers got a good effort from starter Ange Schmit in defeating the Georgia Grays at Bomber Ballpark. The final score was 7-2. Christian Wallace got the save, his 24th in 29 chances. The Bombers bumped their record to 72-61 with this latest triumph.
Schmit, the South Carolina left-hander, went 8.1 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 5 hits. He collected 14 strikeouts.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Schmit told the South Carolina Times.
