Rhinos Sneak Past Jacks, 4-3
|
Rubber City Rhinos starter Bob Ruíz was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Jacksonville Jacks, 4-3. Rubber City reliever Tom Hanson got the win, raising his record to 6-3. Kenny Allen was tagged with the loss. Rubber City has now won 4 in a row.
The Rhinos got a big at-bat from catcher Run-ming Wu. For the game, Wu went 2 for 7 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the 15th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 35th hit of the season gave Rubber City a 4-3 lead.
