Behind a solid performance from left fielder Zeus Mayhem, the So Cal Republic defeated the South Carolina Bombers, 8-5. Mayhem went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Republic. Masafumi Tamura was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 9 strikeouts. Pin-zhen Au notched his 47th save in 51 chances.

The Republic got a big at-bat from center fielder Edgardo Bustamante. For the game, Bustamante was 1 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave So Cal a 3-2 lead.
