Jacks Lose, 5-3, at Bomber Ballpark

The South Carolina Bombers topped the Jacksonville Jacks, 5-3, in Thurman Munson League action at Bomber Ballpark. The player of the game was South Carolina pitcher Ange Schmit. The Bombers bumped their record to 71-58 with this latest triumph.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from center fielder Kiyonobu Yamasaki. For the game, Yamasaki was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 20th home run of the season gave South Carolina a 4-0 lead.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Yamasaki. "And not try to do too much."
