The Hawaii Islanders topped the Maple Marauders, 8-7, in Roberto Clemente League action at Legends Park. The player of the game was Hawaii second baseman Tynan Miller. The Islanders bumped their record to 77-51 with this latest triumph.

The Islanders got a big at-bat from right fielder Manuel Guzmán. For the game, Guzmán was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Hawaii a 8-6 lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Miller. "And not try to do too much."
