The San Diego Hops eked out a 8-7 win versus the Seattle Sasquatch at The Brew Stade. Nobody did more than left fielder Sweet Spanker, who captured player of the game honors. Loeck Jurgens was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 7 runs on 11 hits, with 5 walks and 4 strikeouts. Even with the win, the Hops have a dismal 40-87 record.

Martín Árias, who is tied for 4th in the RCL in triples with 9, helped out the San Diego cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the center fielder was 2-5 with a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.
