2033 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Vancouver Pioneers.

Bloomington Blazers starter Oliver Romero was in fine form against the Vancouver Pioneers at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, leading his team to a 8-3 win. Romero went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 15-6.

Sean Clark, the two overall pick in the 2027 draft, aided the Bloomington cause with a 2-run triple in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-5 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Clark. "And not try to do too much."

The Blazers bumped their record to 77-49 with this latest triumph.
