Mudigonda Helps Vancouver Outscore Cabo San Lucas
Pioneers third baseman Ashis Mudigonda put his stamp on his team's 13-10 win over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. Mudigonda went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for Vancouver in the contest. John Bunce was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 6 save opportunities. Vancouver now sits in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 49-72.

Mudigonda had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-0 curveball from Richard Lawson, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Pioneers a 13-10 lead. It was the 15th home run of the year for Mudigonda.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Mudigonda said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
