Bombers Score Late to Upend Earthquakes, 12-3
It was a good time at Bomber Ballpark, where fans came to watch the San Francisco Earthquakes and South Carolina Bombers get after it.

The Bombers faced a stiff challenge from San Francisco pitcher Carlos Estrada, but persevered to claim a win at Bomber Ballpark. The final score was 12-3. Estrada went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. Ángel Ruíz was the winning pitcher. Over 9 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts.

South Carolina took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With no one out, designated hitter Zhao-ying Gai hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Gai said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Bombers raised their record to 69-52.
