Vancouver Pioneers starter Kenko Samurakami was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Maple Marauders, 5-1. Samurakami, the winner, moves to 11-8. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks. Today's win puts Vancouver at 48-72, while Maple falls to 88-31.
Jesús Lópes chipped in for Vancouver with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
