The Georgia Grays beat the Kansas City Tornadoes, 8-2, at Debris Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Mike Ramos, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Even with the win, the Grays have a dismal 39-81 record.
Georgia left fielder Tadataka Yoshino delivered a 3-run home run in the top of the third. Overall, he went 3 for 4, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
