Portland pitcher Yoshiaki Kojima did his part in helping his team beat the San Diego Hops, 2-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Getting the save was Olivier Martin, his 3rd. The Hops fall to 5-6 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.

Kojima allowed 1 run over 8 innings. He also racked up 9 strikeouts.
