Islanders Rally For Late Win Over Mafia
Hawaii beat New York on the strength of starter Allen Cox's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. The Islanders have now won 8 straight.

Had Jim Burry not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Burry hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Islanders.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Burry.
