The Rubber City Rhinos and Dallas Texans obliged those fans who came to The Rubber Grounds looking for a good time.
The Rubber City Rhinos scored a 6-5 win versus the Dallas Texans at The Rubber Grounds. Rubber City pitcher Sigfrid Arnim nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Shinzo Sasaki earned his 37th save in 43 chances.
Had Oscar Costales not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Costales hit a 2-run double. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Rhinos.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Costales.
The Rhinos own a robust 71-41 mark.
