Mustangs Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Pioneers
The Mile High Mustangs defeated the Vancouver Pioneers, 13-4, in Thurman Munson League action at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, with Mile High third baseman Shunso Sato named player of the game. Doyle Sullivan got credit for the win, improving to 5-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3.2 innings. The Mustangs now have a record of 62-47 with the win over Vancouver.

Mile High needed the clutch hitting of Denzel Kemsley to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Mustangs on top, 7-4. For the game, Kemsley had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a solid team effort," said Sato after the game.
