Tornadoes Prevail, 4-3, Over San Francisco
|
The Kansas City Tornadoes picked up a win at Golden Gate Park, knocking off the San Francisco Earthquakes, 4-3. On the mound for Kansas City was left-hander Na'il bin Bashshar, who played a pivotal role in the win. Norberto Barrón got the save, his 5th in 5 chances. The Earthquakes, now 44-65, have lost 7 straight.
Franklin Gray, who is tied for 5th in the TML in doubles with 24, aided the Kansas City cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a walk.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Kansas City manager Ryan Blandford.
