The Hawaii Islanders handed the New York Mafia a loss at Aloha Stadium. The final score was 6-5. Ryan Lewry was named player of the game for Hawaii. Lewry had a game-changing single in the bottom of the 11th. On a 3-1 fastball from Lex Herrewijn, he banged a run-scoring single to right, giving the Islanders a 6-5 lead. It was the 18th hit of the year for Lewry.
