Hornets Walk Off with 5-4 Win
The Eureka Hornets knocked off the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 5-4, at The Nest. Bartley Alroy, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Eureka won. The left fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Hornets are now 52-54, while the Toreros fall to 40-67.

The Hornets got a big at-bat from third baseman George Bowman. For the game, Bowman was 1 for 1. In the bottom of the 11th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 45th hit of the season gave Eureka a 5-4 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Alroy.
