Black Knights Walk Off with 6-5 Win
The Portland Beavers got a superb performance from pitcher Félix Reina, but the Brooklyn Black Knights still won the game, 6-5. Reina was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball. The Black Knights bumped their record to 60-45 with this latest triumph.

Brooklyn won the game in the bottom of the 15th inning. With no outs and Jake Adkins on the mound for Portland, third baseman Tsuneyo Nakagawa hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Black Knights fans to their feet.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Nakagawa. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
