Rhinos Need Extra Frames to Get Past Islanders
|
Rubber City and Hawaii duked it out at Aloha Stadium and the Rhinos came out victorious.
Rubber City starter Dylan Butlin pitched effectively against the Hawaii Islanders at Aloha Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. The Rhinos, at 66-39, have now won 4 straight.
Butlin, a native of Wolverton-Stony Stratford, England, was dealing all game. He kept Hawaii hitters off-balance, while giving the Rhinos 9 quality innings. Butlin threw 95 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 7.
Butlin called the triumph "a good team win."
