Blazers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Hornets
The Eureka Hornets got a sterling performance from left fielder Juan González, but the Blazers still prevailed, 4-3. González was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The 4th-place Hornets have lost 4 straight games.

Jack Morris was the walk-off hero for Bloomington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blazers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Morris told the Bloomington Citizen.
