Victory Pushes Black Knights Record to 59-44

It was a fun time at Blue Ivy Stadium, where the Dallas Texans and Brooklyn Black Knights tangled.
Brooklyn turned a good effort from starter Elijah Green into a win over the Dallas Texans at Blue Ivy Stadium. The final score was 3-1. Green got the win, improving to 9-5. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. Green allowed 1 earned run.
The Black Knights got a big at-bat from right fielder Todd McCarthy. For the game, McCarthy was 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 14th double of the season gave Brooklyn a 2-0 lead.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Green told the Brooklyn Gazette.
The third-place Black Knights have won 4 consecutive games.
