The Mile High Mustangs dealt the South Carolina Bombers a 13-6 loss at Bomber Ballpark. Shunso Sato was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Rintaro Shinoda picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-3. He struck out 2 in 6.1 innings. The Mustangs bumped their record to 57-45 with this latest triumph.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from right fielder José Rea. For the game, Rea was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 19th home run of the season gave Mile High a 3-2 lead.
