Sangameswar belts 2 home runs, Rhinos Move to 65-39
|
The Rubber City Rhinos defeated the Hawaii Islanders, 8-4. Earning player of the game honors was third baseman Avatsara Sangameswar, who slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Rhinos have an impressive 65-39 record.
Sangameswar had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Rhinos went on to win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Sangameswar told the Rubber City Chronicle.
