Late Rally by Bombers Seals 4th Straight Win
|
South Carolina Bombers starter Ángel Ruíz was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Rubber City Rhinos, 5-2. South Carolina is now riding a 4-game win streak.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from third baseman Baber Davi. For the game, Davi went 1-3 with a triple and was hit 2 times. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave South Carolina a 3-2 lead.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Davi. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
