Maple Wins Game 4 in Extras; On Verge of R4
With designated hitter Anthony Cadenhead leading the charge, the Maple Marauders got past the Quebec Armada, 6-4, in extra innings in Game 4 of the League Pennant today. Cadenhead went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 at Lucky 7 Ballpark as Maple managed to take to a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Alejandro Marés's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a curveball from Joachim Doucet for a run-scoring single. It put Maple in front, 5-4.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Marés.

Game 5 is set to be played tomorrow at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The scheduled starters for the game are Héctor Zúñiga for the Maple Marauders and Yohann Bosler for the the Quebec Armada.
