The Antioch Coal Miners moved to within one game of the Round 3 today, downing the Albuquerque Cacti on the road at Albuquerque Sports Stadium by a score of 3-1. Coal Miners right-hander Kang-il Hyong was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives the Coal Miners a 4-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Triple A World Series.

Hyong, who was born in Gwangmyeong, South Korea, threw 103 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing 1 earned run.
