The Albuquerque Cacti moved to within one game of the Triple A World Series today, downing the visiting Fairfield Flash at Albuquerque Sports Stadium by a score of 4-3. Cacti left-hander Dino De Buono was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 5 innings allowing 2 runs. The win gives the Cacti a 4-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Triple A League Championship.

Munoto Okuta aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Albuquerque manager Tom Robertson.
