Detroit third baseman Jorge García was instrumental in his team's 11-10 win over the Omaha Raptors. García went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Death Stars. The Death Stars bumped their record to 86-77 with this latest triumph.

Alex Munoz went 2 for 3 with 2 triples and a walk. He scored 2 runs for Detroit. The 22-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 10-10 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jason Engel. It was his 12th RBI of the season.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Munoz told the Detroit Daily.
