In a pivotal Game 5, the Antioch Coal Miners were hoping for a big game from starter Takeji Ogawa. They got one.

The right-hander shut out the Albuquerque Cacti, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 3-0 victory. The Coal Miners took the 3-0 win over the Albuquerque Cacti to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The Cacti had trouble solving Ogawa, who surrendered no earned runs on 7 hits over 8 innings.

"Takeji is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Antioch manager Hervé Barthélémy.

The next game is scheduled for Tuesday, November 1st, 2033 at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Slated to start are Kang-il Hyong for the Antioch Coal Miners and Dino De Buono for the the Albuquerque Cacti.
