Vemireddy, Quebec Start Divisional Championship Strong with Home Win
|
The Quebec Armada powered past the visiting Mile High Mustangs, 3-1, in the opener of the Divisional Championship at Lucky 7 Ballpark today. Quebec starting pitcher Adhipa Vemireddy threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, to lead the charge. The Armada now lead the series 1-0.
Vemireddy gave Quebec a solid start. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 7.2 innings.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Vemireddy told the Quebec Herald.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Lucky 7 Ballpark in Quebec City. Slated to start are James Jostle for Mile High and Yohann Bosler for Quebec.
