The 2033 season is getting ugly for Paradise Island.

The St. Paul Grognards beat the Paradise Island Pirates, 13-1, at Predator Park. The Grognards got a fine performance from third baseman Matthew Rogers, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. St. Paul goes to 34-36, Paradise Island to 24-46.

Early in the game, Rogers had a 3-run home run for St. Paul. It was his 20th home run of the season and put the Grognards on top, 3-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Rogers said after the game.
