Storm Turn Back Rosewell, 2-0
|
Bobby Lloyd never let the Tribbles get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Storm to a 2-0 win. Chris Shaw was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 4 save opportunities. The Storm, at 41-28, lead by one game in their division.
The Storm picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Rosewell skipper Anthony Mays, "and it cost us."
