Sabercats Roll to 12-1 Win Over Kings
The Sedona Sabercats topped the Lumber Kings, 12-1, in Cecil Fielder League action at The Lair at Sabercat Field. The player of the game was Sedona pitcher and Fontana, California native Ian Portz. The Sabercats bumped their record to 40-29 with this latest triumph.

In the bottom of the third inning, designated hitter Terry Simmon came through big-time for the Sabercats. With Sedona leading 2-0, he belted a grand slam home run.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Sedona manager Edgardo Bautista.
