Sabercats Rally For Late Win Over Kings

The Sedona Sabercats eked out a 4-3 win versus the Lumber Kings at The Lair at Sabercat Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Ruben Fernandez, who captured player of the game honors. The Sabercats bumped their record to 39-29 with this latest triumph.
Bob Scott drove in one run for Sedona. The 19-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Francisco Valenzuela. It was his 38th RBI of the season.
"Enjoyed this one," Fernandez told the Sedona Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
