Baker Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Wichita in Walk-Off Win
Wichita starter Bobby Lloyd pitched effectively against the The Stinging Larvae at The Storm Center. The left-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. The first-place Storm have a one-game lead in their division.

Wichita won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Vince Johnson on the mound for The Stinging, right fielder Ken Baker hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Storm fans to their feet.

During his postgame press conference, Storm manager Chance Jackson told reporters that he expected a tight game from the get-go. "This had the potential to go down to the wire, and it certainly didn't disappoint," he said, later quipping, "it might've been a little less nerve-racking if I had been watching the game from my couch!"
