|
Wichita Storm starter Alex Acevedo turned in an exceptional performance against the The Stinging Larvae at The Storm Center, resulting in a Wichita win, 6-1. Acevedo got the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. Acevedo allowed 1 earned run. The first-place Storm have a one-game lead in their division.
Ken Baker aided the Wichita cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
