The Stinging Larvae starter J.J. Cassidy was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Paradise Island Pirates, 3-2. The Larvae bumped their record to 31-28 with this latest triumph.

Luke Van Ness was the walk-off hero for The Stinging. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Larvae center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Cassidy, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
