Nutcrackers Lose, 7-4, at The Storm Center
Adrian Janis left his imprint on the 7-4 Wichita win against the Normal Nutcrackers. Janis went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Wichita reliever Sam Young was the winner. His record is now 8-1. The losing pitcher was Cedric Gold. Yutaka Sasaki got credit for the save for Wichita. It was his 10th of the year.

Janis had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-1 fastball from Cedric Gold, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Storm a 7-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Janis.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Janis told the Wichita Bulletin.

The Storm, at 32-22, lead by one game in their division.
